Womens Bracelet Natural Labadorite And Blue/Black Tiger Eye
Labadorite is named for the island of Labador off the Canadian Coast.
Labadorite has an exclusive optical phenomenon that is soley shown by this feldspar gem .
Iridescence flashs of color, which appear on the surface of the
labadorite are known as "Labadorescence"
The other stone I chose for this bracelet is Blue/Black Tiger Eye.
Tiger Eye is a very popular gemstone that is a combination og Quartz and the mineral "Crocidolite". The Quartz takes over and disolves the Crocidolite leaving the Quartz, when polished, with a silky lustre and creates a beautiful chatoyant efect of moving layers of lines and waves.
These are two of my 3 or 4 favorite stones. Tiger Eye is the hardest of the two with a 7 on Mohs Scale and Labadorite at 6
They are paired with Stainless Steel spacers and bead stoppers on paracord with Black Stainless Steel Clasp.
Measures 7 1/4 "
